This is how we prefer to see our ground floor apartments in the Stadionbuurt. The apartment is efficiently laid out and has a very functional and fully-equipped annex. Ideal for people who want an extra guest room or office space. In addition, there are still some original details to be found, such as the panel doors and a China cabinet.
Entrance: you enter through your own entrance. From the hall you have access to all rooms. The living area extends from the front to the rear of the house. This allows you to enjoy light from both sides. The living room is on the street side. From the couch you have a garden view and the characteristic (and protected) buildings of the Stadionbuurt.
The dining area is located at the rear and is in direct contact with the open kitchen and it has a garden view. There is more than enough space for a cozy, large dining table. The access from the patio doors makes the garden an extension of the home. There are also practical built-in cupboards between the dining area and the living room.
The kitchen has all kinds of appliances such as a 5-burner stove, combi microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The rear wall of the kitchen is covered with charming typical dutch white tiles.
The master bedroom is at the rear of the house. The bathroom has a large bath, washbasin with furniture and a toilet. Here is also the connection for washing machine and dryer. The second bedroom is in the front house and has a custom made wardrobe.

The apartment is located in a quiet, wide street between Stadionweg and Stadionkade in the very popular Stadionbuurt in de south district of Amsterdam, near to the Zuidas.
Directly around the corner you will find a bakery, butcher, greengrocer and (organic) supermarket. The cozy, renewed Stadionplein with its Saturday market, the (caterers / delicacies) shops, restaurants / cafés make this neighbourhood popular. The property is also within walking distance of Beethovenstraat with its chic shops and the WTC Zuid. Also known as the 'new' center of Amsterdam; the international business center with (future) cultural facilities with a train and metro station.
For pleasant walks or jogging, the quay of the Zuider-Amstelkanaal (Stadionkade), the nearby Beatrixpark and the Amsterdamse Bos are within cycling distance.
The public transport connections are excellent. The tram and bus are around the corner, as well as the train and metro at Zuid station, which is a 10-minute walk. You can also reach the highway (Ring A10) within 5 minutes.
Parking is done through the permit system for which there is currently no waiting list and possibility to obtain 2 parking permits.
