Amstelkade 186 I, 1078 BB in Amsterdam

Very light and charming apartment (86m) with balcony at the rear on the first floor and storage space on the fourth floor. This 3-room apartment is located in the bend of the Amstelkade across from the Apollo hotel (Apollolaan) in a stately and well-maintained apartment building in a unique location in the Amsterdam Oud Zuid/Rivierenbuurt district. The apartment has a unique and unobstructed view of the water as it is situated in the bend of Amstelkade / junction Boerenwetering, Amstelkanaal, Zuider and Noorder Amstelkanaal. There is an exceptional combination of light and sun in the apartment. It was refurbished a couple of years ago and is currently in a very tidy condition.

Location/accessibility: Excellently accessible by public transport and various exit roads. The shopping streets (Scheldestraat, Beethovenstraat, Ferdinand Bolstraat and Van Baerlestraat), various museums (Van Gogh, Stedelijk and Rijksmuseum), even the Concertgebouw and many restaurants/cafs in the neighbourhoods of De Pijp, Rivierenbuurt and Oud Zuid as well as the Beatrixpark are all within walking distance (or by bicycle) of the apartment. This part of the Oud Zuid/Rivierenbuurt district is characterised by the words 'spacious' and 'green' as well as the remarkable Amsterdamse School architecture. The neighbourhood has excellent primary and secondary schools as well as many high-standard childcare facilities. Due to its location near the waterside there is enough space for two parking lanes which provides ample space to park your car right in front of the apartment.
