10 years ago we made the step to this lovely house at Amsterdamseweg 465 in Amstelveen. A beautiful semi-detached house from 1925 which we have completely renovated. The authentic parts made visible in the house and the spaces are used optimally. So the atmosphere and character of the beautiful old house, but completely new inside. A lovely place where you are close to everything; Amsterdam, the sports fields, the city center where you can shop fantastic, several supermarkets, cozy shops, atmospheric restaurants, good schools, quickly at the A10 or A9 ... basically everything.

We experience our house - partly due to the super good insulation - as an oasis of peace. Lovely high and bright spaces with the surprisingly large garden on the water as an extension of the Amsterdam forest. The garden is very sheltered and feels tropical on beautiful days. A place where you can enjoy the warm rays of the sun even in the smallest sun rays. For the children there is enough space to play in the garden: trampoline, climbing frame, lawn and the Hoornsloot where we regularly swim. Or we take the boat and sail through the Amsterdamse Bos to the Amstelveense Poelen or the Amsterdam canals.

We have been able to organize many dinners here in the large open-plan kitchen or in the garden. And relax in the spacious bathroom where you can shower together or enjoy a lovely bath. It is ideal that there is practice at home with its own entrance and a view over the garden. This room with private bathroom and separate toilet can of course also be used as an office, guest house or space for au pair.

We really enjoyed our time at Amsterdamseweg 465 and wish the new residents the same!
