The beautiful building dates back to 1912 and was completely and very tastefully renovated in 2012 to create a practical layout. The combination of modern materials and the creative layout makes this apartment a unique property. The striking industrial living area on the ground floor spreads across the entire length of the building and features a floor-to-ceiling glass-in-steel façade with access to the large garden.

The excellent layout combined with the overall finish and the location make this a premium house!

The financially healthy and active Homeowners’ Association (VvE) is professionally managed and the service charges are €154.50 per month. The outdoor paintwork was done in 2019.

LAYOUT
The communal entrance at street level leads straight to the private entrance inside. The hallway with the separate toilet gives access to the spacious living area. The large kitchen-diner is at the back and features a magnificent industrial-style glass-in-steel façade with doors opening to the generously sized garden. The seating area/workspace is at the front of the house. The modern kitchen has floor-to-ceiling wooden units and black cupboards and drawers plus a dark-coloured stone worktop. The kitchen also includes several built-in appliances and a free-standing American fridge.

The deep garden has a surface of no less than 58 m2 and is largely paved with big, grey tiles combined with various tropical plants. A large wooden lounger with storage space has been created at the back of the garden. This lounge area is finished with hardwood decking.

Centred on the ground floor is an additional built-in closet and the open wooden staircase leads to the upper floors. The ground floor features a light-coloured cast flooring with underfloor heating.

The first floor offers two connected spaces separated from the landing by a glass-in-steel doorway. The front of this floor is currently used as a workspace while the back contains a children's bedroom. Both rooms give access to a balcony overlooking the garden. It will be easy to realise two separate bedrooms.

The second staircase leads from the landing to the second floor. This floor includes the master bedroom at the back, which also gives access to a balcony. The fourth bedroom is currently used as a study.

The separate toilet and the bathroom are accessed from the landing and are finished in the same style with playful floor tiles and white wall tiles. The bathroom offers a bath, a walk-in shower, and a broad washbasin unit. A separate laundry closet includes the white goods connections and the central heating unit.

The first and second floor are both finished with beautiful herringbone parquet flooring.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
