The house is located in the popular and award winning White Cape building, with nice restaurants, the harbor and the new beach of IJburg within walking distance. There are also many shops for groceries in the area. A delicious bakery and the Dane around the corner, the shopping center of IJburg is quickly accessible for a diverse range of shops and two supermarkets, and within 10 minutes you can reach Maxis Muiden with, among other things, an Albert Heijn XL.
Recreation is possible in the Theo van Gogh park and the Diemerpark with its own beach. Terracegoers can visit one of the many restaurants on the harbor, along the IJburglaan or on Steigereiland.
