Uithoorn is a small town located south of Amsterdam. It’s home to cafés and shops and some lovely spots to walk and see an abundance of nature and history. The town is perhaps best known for its unusual city flag and coat of arms, both of which feature a figure emerging from a golden horn. The town’s name literally means ‘from the horn’ in Dutch.
