About the neighbourhood:
This house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood in the child-friendly district Overwhere Noord. At the front of the house is a green strip with the road behind it. The lively historic centre of Purmerend, with a wide range of shops, cosy cafés and restaurants and various cultural amenities, is about 10 minutes away by bike. Layout of the house:
Through the front garden which is beautifully planted with perennials and shrubs you reach the front door of the house. Entrance with meter closet, stairs to the first floor, access to the neatly tiled floating toilet with hand basin and access to the living room with masonry fireplace and a partially open kitchen. On the floor of the living room and kitchen is linoleum with parquet underneath. Walls and ceiling are finished in a light colour scheme. The kitchen (Grando) is located at the rear of the house. The beautiful L-shaped kitchen has cream-colored fronts with wood details and the following equipment is available: a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, a 4-burner gas cooker, a refrigerator and a freezer. There is plenty of cupboard space. The kitchen has a door to the backyard.

All bedrooms have wide windows. On the floor is laminate. Walls and ceilings are partly sleek, and partly have a decorative finish. The beautiful, brightly tiled bathroom is located at the front. Purmerend

Purmerend was originally a fishing village, but a banker from Amsterdam was allowed to build a castle there, which was completed in 1413. 31 years later Purmerend was given a charter to become a city. There is a large indoor shopping centre in the middle of Purmerend that has all of the major shops and stores that you will usually find in any Dutch town or city. It also houses some small, interesting and eclectic shops, however, and more of these can be found in the surrounding streets. There is an interesting little market close to the shopping centre as well.

Your purchasing agent knows the market like no other

When you enlist the services of a purchasing agent who is affiliated with the MVA or NVM, you can be sure he or she knows all the ins and outs of the relevant market. Especially when housing prices are volatile, you can be assured that your estate agent is taking all the necessary factors into account.
