So you can come and have a look at our homes with confidence

The Sloterplas is the pride of Nieuw-West. In 2017, the northern bank of the Sloterplas was designated a municipal protected cityscape. This beautiful area is located a short cycling distance from the center. The district is quiet, spacious and green. The area around the Sloterplas is in full development. You can see this not only in the new neighborhood tents such as Hotel Buiten (good terrace!), Puck and De School, but also in the new Van Eesteren pavilion and the renewed swimming beach. Swimming in the Sloterparkbad, boating on the Sloterplas, a round of running or walking, a game of tennis, everything is possible here.

The various tram and bus connections within walking distance and the proximity of NS train stations Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Amsterdam Lelylaan and metro station Jan van Galen ensure that you can move quickly within the city or region. By car you are on the Ring A10 within three minutes.

The beautiful communal entrance is luxurious and beautifully decorated. Various seating areas have been created which immediately gives a homely and well-kept feeling. The apartment is equipped with: new kitchen (including induction hob, extractor hood, combi oven, dishwasher and refrigerator), luxury bathroom with walk-in shower, separate toilet, washer-dryer, window decoration in the living room and bedroom, luxury intercom system and custom-made cupboard walls. The house has been renovated energy-neutral. There is underfloor heating throughout the house and they are connected to district heating. The living room is nice and light because of the glass sliding doors over the entire width of the house and you have a beautiful unobstructed view over the Sloterplas. The apartment has one spacious bedroom.

The apartment will be delivered 'unfurnished', namely including window decoration, fitted wardrobes and a Beko washer / dryer combination. We do not rent furnished houses. Service costs are 95 per month.

More information

MVA neighbourhood information: Slotermeer-Zuidwest

Geuzenveld was built during the 1950s and 1960s and is part of the western Garden-villages. Slotermeer was the first western garden village which was designed by the principles of the General Expansion Plan. This plan included building houses which had as much sun and natural sunlight as possible. A part of Slotermeer has a protected city view, which means that this part has a protected development plan and several other restrictions. The main reason for this protection is because this area is one of the greenest parts of Amsterdam with more than four parks available.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Enlist an MVA/NVM estate agent when renting in the Netherlands

An estate agent’s area of expertise is not limited to buying and selling properties. When looking for a property to rent, it is also wise to enlist an agent. He or she can advise you about which kind of property is best suited for you, and which area to go for.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
