Ultimate enjoyment in maximum freedom! Who doesn't like it? Sailing with the wind in your hair and the reflection of the sunlight in the water, enjoying the most beautiful views! Imagine: making long journeys with your 'sailing house' in the summer and nice and cozy on your own mooring space in Amsterdam in the winter! It is now all within reach with this unique sailing (Dutch) Barge!

Location:

This ship has its own mooring space on the very conveniently located Amsterdam-IJburg. Here everything is within reach: the (organic) supermarket, bakery, butcher and fishshop all around the corner. IJburg is very child-friendly. There is a wide choice of schools, playgrounds, sports parks, etc., all within walking distance.

Jetty:

There are 34 ships in this "floating community". This plan was realized under architecture in 2015 with, among other things, large private jetties with all facilities. There are two beautiful entrance buildings with bicycle shed and an electronic entrance gate. In addition to the sun terrace on board, you also have access to a large terrace on the jetty directly behind the ship where you can watch the sun set alone or with your neighbors. To top it all off, you have an extra private mooring space for your (sailing) boat right next to the terrace! Imagine an hour of sailing, surfing or water skiing on the Markermeer on a summer evening: what a party!

Boating:

Few ships are as well equipped and maintained as the Troubadour. You can literally sail away within 15 minutes. The ship is completely yard-built under the highest safety requirements. Mooring is never a problem because the ship is equipped with two spud poles so you can always find a mooring place anywhere. You simply take your car and / or (motor) bicycle on board by means of the hydraulic car crane. The ship is equipped with all (technical) comfort, including a 360-degree bow thruster, making the ship very easy to handle. The current owner is also very willing to transfer his knowledge and skills so that you can master all the tricks and sail towards the horizon yourself in no time.

Bedrooms:

Hopefully, choosing this ship will put an end to the question of who gets the most beautiful or the largest room. They all are. There are no fewer than four very spacious bedrooms, all with an en-suite bathroom. Almost every room is a dream, but the master bedroom in particular. Here you will find, as it were, your own lockable cozy hotel suite with two bathrooms (including a double bath) and a more than spacious walk-in closet.

B&B, guest house and/ or office:

In the former skipper's house at the very back of the ship, the current owners have furnished a guest house or office space. Because this space is completely closed off from the rest of the ship, a luxury bed & breakfast can very easily be set up here!

Swimming:

You can of course jump overboard, but what is the pinnacle of luxury is taking a dip in your own heated swimming pool. Invite all your friends to an unforgettable pool party on board and thoroughly enjoy the long summer evenings!

Outdoor living in the city:

On a ship like the Troubadour you are one with the elements around you. From literally every space on board you have direct contact with the water, which means that you are right outside with the first ray of sunshine. Living on the Troubadour is living in ultimate freedom and luxury with all the pleasures of the city within reach.

On mstroubadour . nl you will find extensive technical information about the Troubadour as well as many photos of the trips that the current owner has made with the ship.

Are you ready to become the next "singing traveler"? We wish you a warm welcome on board the “Troubadour”.

Ground lease:

The application to switch to perpetual leasehold has been made on time, so you can make use of the advantageous conditions.

Surface:
223 m2 GO plus 35 m2 other indoor space (engine rooms).

MVA neighbourhood information: IJburg West

IJburg West is a brand new residential area under construction to the East of Amsterdam. A distinctive feature of the neighbourhood, which is situated on the IJmeer, is the fact that it is built on artificial islands. IJburg is a part of the East district, and is home to a tight-knit community with lots of young families with children. The neighbourhood boasts a great variety of properties, ranging from individual building projects to large-scale apartment blocks. With the city beach Blijburg aan Zee and lots of cosy lunch spots, shops and bars, life is good here. Apart from that, there are several sports and cultural events year-round, and plenty of opportunities to engage in water sports. Living in IJburg means living in an environment full of greenery and water, and with all the amenities you would expect from a neighbourhood, such as schools, day-cares, supermarkets and restaurants.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.
