Description

This bright, attractive two-room corner apartment with balcony and unobstructed view is located on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex in the Oostzanerwerf district in Amsterdam-Noord. The complex is located on a quiet road in the Circus/Kermisbuurt, a child-friendly neighborhood with many facilities in the vicinity.

The house is far enough from the center to be away from the crowds, but close enough to get there quickly. You can reach Amsterdam-Central station within half an hour by public transport or by bicycle. For the children there are some playgrounds within walking distance, and also childcare and primary school. Various forms of secondary education can be reached on foot or by bicycle. The supermarket and several other shops are within a few minutes walk. The neighborhood has several sports facilities, some of which are within walking distance. The bus stop is almost on the doorstep. By car you can drive in a few minutes to the A10 ring road, from where you can then go in all directions.

Layout:

Ground floor: neat communal hall with mailboxes and staircase. Entrance with doorbell and intercom.

Apartment: you reach the front door via the stairwell. Outside you will find the meter closet. Entrance with storage closet with central heating system, neatly tiled toilet with sink, laundry room with connection for washing machine and dryer, sliding door to the bedroom, bathroom and access to the living room with open kitchen.

The bright living room has two large windows due to the corner location. There is enough space for a nice sitting area. The spacious, modern kitchen is located at the rear of the room. The kitchen also has windows and overlooks the roof terrace. The straight kitchen (Sense) has gray fronts and there are modern built-in appliances, including a gas cooker, a Zanussi oven, a Whirlpool dishwasher and an Elica extractor hood. You will also find a breakfast bar for two people here. The kitchen is tiled with white tiles with a decorative edge and the floor has tiles with a beautiful pattern. The living room is neatly finished and there is laminate on the floor, that runs smoothly over the entire apartment (with the exception of the sanitary facilities). The bedroom is accessible via the hall and is spacious enough for a double bed and a workplace. The brightly tiled bathroom has a walk-in shower with rain shower, a vanity unit with design sink and mirror and recessed spotlights. The floor is covered with gray tiles and the walls are tiled in white with a decorative strip.

A door in the living room gives access to a balcony. Here you have an unobstructed view of the surroundings.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Apartments

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
