Luxurious villa with private parking, surrounding garden and swimming pool

A home in a monumental villa with grandeur, luxury and modern appeal.

Built ca. 1961 by architect W.J. Klein and remodeled and extended in 2016 by architect Ren้ Onsia, currently in turn-key condition, with a total of 12 rooms and ca. 454 sqm of net floorspace (ca. 577 sqm gross floor area). A home in a modern monument with contemporary luxury and comfort.
Surrounded by a stunning south-facing garden that border on Kleine Wetering and a green buffer zone.

Complete, with parking, a swimming pool, home cinema and gym.
Without question, this is one of the most beautiful properties in Buitenveldert.

The newly built three level extension combined with the original house has led to a well-configured home with an excellent flow. The current ground-floor level now has a floor area of nearby 300 sqm. This level accommodates all residential purposes: with living space, a kitchen, home office, gym, bedroom and parking.

The living space spans the width of the property and offers a beautiful view of the garden. Adjacent is a separate home gym, again with a lovely view of the garden. This space can also be used as a home office. The other wing features the enormous kitchen/lounge, with a large chef's island with a full range of luxury appliances, which opens to the spacious terrace outside.

On the ground floor, the extension harbors a full master suite, with a bedroom off the garden, dressing room and a large bathroom with a bathtub, vanity, toilet and double shower. The bedroom area offers direct access to the swimming pool.

The first floor includes three similar-sized bedrooms, a dressing room and a bathroom with a double shower, toilet and vanity.

The basement features a study/guestroom that opens to the patio, from where steps lead up to the garden. This level also includes a bathroom with a double shower and vanity, in addition to a separate restroom.

The patio is fitted with a jacuzzi, the secluded positioning makes this a fabulous spot to unwind.
The basement level also includes a home theater/cinema and a fully-equipped bar. Ideal for parties and get-togethers.

The south-facing garden is well-presented and beautifully landscaped. There are several terraces by the pool as well as a fully-equipped outdoor kitchen. The swimming pool is heated and fitted with a retractable cover. There are two large terraces off the living room and the kitchen. The garden also includes a lawn and an enclosed hockey/soccer field with artificial grass. Perfect for sports enthusiasts.

A boat can be docked off the garden.

MVA neighbourhood information: Buitenveldert-Oost

Buitenveldert is the most southern part of Amsterdam South. The neighbourhood has a lot of contrasts. Buitenveldert characteristics itself by the amount of space and green facilities available in the area. There are many facilities and shopping centre for example the Gerderlandplaza. The houses are relatively big and the neighbourhood has many above-average aged people. The neighbourhood scores well on the safety scale. Although the safety is good, the social cohesion isn’t that strong. The Zuidas part of Amsterdam is a dynamic area, which is in full development. Originally the focus was on making this part of Amsterdam a high level office complex, but now the focus is more on making it a residential area. There aren’t that many inhabitants yet, but the new building concepts are designed to improve that. There will be an elementary school and several other facilities available, which will make this part of Amsterdam a unique location.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.
