LAYOUT
Ground floor:
This floor of the property is taken up by an attractive kitchen-living area and benefits from a large window that lets natural light in. The modern kitchen has white, high-gloss drawers (without handles) and Calacatta marble worktops. The kitchen also has a designer poured floor with underfloor heating, a five-burner Smeg stove, a Quooker and a deep pantry under the stairs. Besides the main entrance, there is a second external door in the kitchen, which opens up the space in good weather. The Eerste Bloemdwarsstraat is the ideal location to enjoy the sun and the wonderful atmosphere of the Jordaan area from the comfort of your home. The hall features a coat closet and stairs via which the first floor is accessed.

First floor:
The compact landing houses the property’s meter cupboard and also gives access to the first floor of the house. The charming living area on this floor has three pleasing windows. A bespoke radiator conversion has been achieved with an eye for detail and doubles up as a window seat. The open staircase at the front of this floor leads to the second floor of the property.

Second floor:
This floor is currently being used as a spacious study but would also make an ideal extra bedroom. During the renovation, a solid oak designer bookcase with LED lighting was built into the space on this floor. There is also a second toilet on this floor and a deep built-in cupboard with washing machine and dryer connections. This floor also has three lovely windows and an open staircase to the bedrooms on the floor above.

Third floor:
The landing on this floor gives access to the small bedroom located at the front of the property, the bathroom to the back of this floor and the stairs to the top floor. The spacious bathroom has underfloor heating, a playful dark-blue-and-white tile floor and white walls with a dark-blue border. The bathroom has a jacuzzi, a separate shower, a white vanity unit and a toilet.

Fourth floor:
The stairs on this floor gives access to the master bedroom with a beautiful roof structure, which gives the room a romantic feel. This room also has a number of built-in cupboards and access to a long loft with plenty of storage space.

MVA neighbourhood information: Jordaan

The Jordaan is one of the most well-known neighbourhoods in Amsterdam. It is an amazing area to live, go out and have some fun. The Jordaan’s best features are created by their history, the residents and its urban character. Within the Jordaan you can find several small streets with beautifully restored buildings, there are plazas and public gardens, but also canals and streets where you can find marketplaces and small shops. These attractive features of the Jordaan can mostly be found on the North side of this neighbourhood, the southern part is in comparison to the North more described as residential area.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.
