The Kolenkitbuurt can be split up into three parts: The southern part between the Erasmusgracht and the Bos en Lommerweg, the middle part between the Bos en Lommerweg and the Wiltzanghlaan and the northern part of the Wiltzanglaan. The houses within the Kolenkitbuurt were built during the 1950s. The last ten years many things have changed within the neighbourhood.
