This high-quality renovated double ground floor apartment, located on its own ground, has a sunny garden on the west and is particularly light because of the more than 3 meter high ceilings.

The basement was renovated in 2014 and the ground floor was completely renovated in 2017, turning this former 1930s retail space into a luxurious and modern home. During the renovation, all installations and pipes (water, electricity, central heating, mechanical ventilation, underfloor heating) were renewed. High-quality materials have been used and thanks to the neat finish, the house is ready to move into. The garden has sun from noon, so you can have a drink / eat here with friends and family.

Ground floor:
private entrance, portal with wardrobe, modern open kitchen at the front and bright living room at the rear. The kitchen with dining area at the front overlooks the Haarlemmermeerstraat and is equipped with various built-in appliances, such as a 5-burner gas hob, extractor, Quooker, dishwasher, convection oven and fridge-freezer.
At the rear, the spacious living room has a study with a mezzanine that is now used as a TV corner for the children. The living room has French doors to the garden and a beautiful glass door that provides access to the basement. The entire living floor has a beautiful concrete floor with underfloor heating.

You reach the basement via the oak staircase with meter cupboard. At the rear is the master bedroom, with fitted wardrobes and direct access to the luxurious bathroom. The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower and double sink on luxury furniture. The second bedroom with fitted wardrobes and basement cuckoo is located at the front. Under the stairs there is a storage cupboard with the washing machine and dryer connection. The basement also has a beautiful cast floor.

In the photos you will find an alternative floor plan of the basement with 3 bedrooms and the corresponding artist impressions. Two cellar cuckoo windows need to be realized for this. A feasibility study has been carried out for this by a licensing advice office and found to be feasible.

The Hoofddorppleinbuurt is bordered by the Schinkel, the Westlandgracht, the Surinameplein and the Henk Sneevlietweg. The surroundings of the Amstelveenseweg can be reached via the Zeilbrug. The neighborhood is also characterized by an attractive and varied range of shops. The Hoofddorppleinbuurt has several cozy cafes and restaurants, everything is literally within walking distance, such as Ghent aan de Schinkel. There are 2 primary schools and various nurseries within walking distance, as well as a few small playgrounds and the Vondelpark. By bike you are via the Vondelpark within 10 minutes in the center and also in the Amsterdamse Bos. By car you are within 3 minutes on the Ring A10 via the highways S106 and S107 and can therefore be described as ideal for commuting outside Amsterdam. Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
