Layout of the house
Contrary to the first eye, the entrance of this house is at the end of the gateway on the side. Here you enter the hall where a lot of natural light enters through a roof dome. In the hall are the connections for washing machine and dryer and there is enough space for the wardrobe. The hall provides access to the toilet with hand basin, the bathroom, the living room and the loft.
The loft is accessible via a vlizo staircase and mainly serves as storage space, because of it's size and height it is also possibly to be used as a room or hobby room. The central heating system is also located here.
The bathroom is neatly tiled in a neutral color scheme and equipped with a shower cabin and washbasin. There is a window for the necessary light and natural ventilation.
The living room has been extended at the rear, creating a fine dining room with an access door to the backyard. Adjacent to the dining area is the modern, semi-open kitchen which was completely renovated in 2016 and is equipped with a 4-burner gas hob with extractor hood, dishwasher, combi oven, fridge / freezer and sink with close-in boiler. The former en-suite living room has enough space at the front for a good sitting room, where there is a practical storage cupboard under the stairs.
Via the former entrance, where the meter cupboard is also located, you can go up with the stairs.
The landing provides access to the 3 bedrooms and the attic which runs over the entire width of the house. The main bedroom is located at the front and has a large dormer and a built-in wardrobe. The 2 other bedrooms are located at the rear and these also have a dormer. All dormers are equipped with electric shutters.
The house has a deep, but narrow backyard of approximately 20 mē. The garden is adjacent to a public car park at the rear and is also accessible via a gate.
Aalsmeer is an excellent alternative to living in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. Within 20 minutes, the city center can be reached by car. The bus stop with connections to Schiphol, Hoofddorp / Haarlem and Uithoorn / Utrecht is five minutes walk from the house. There are NS stations at Schiphol and Hoofddorp. Aalsmeer is a municipality with 30,000 inhabitants and the official system is located in Amstelveen. There is a wide range of shops, a rich association life and a lot of attention is also paid to art and culture. The Westeinderplassen form a unique nature and recreation area. There are many marinas and there is no shortage of catering establishments.
