Various markets in the area. The Westermarkt on Monday for patches and household items. The Lindenmarkt on Saturday is a very nice general market. Also on Saturday the most famous Farmers Market in Amsterdam.


A 6-minute walk from the Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal where Trams line 2-4-11-12-13-14-17 have a stop and a 6-minute bike ride from Central Station. Of course, you need a bicycle in the center of Amsterdam.
