Description

Spacious family home! This authentic and attractive semi-detached house with detached garage has a west-facing garden with driveway. On the floors are 5 bedrooms, a roof terrace, the bathroom, 2 toilets and plenty of storage space. The location is great: on the corner of the quiet Hugo de Grootlaan and the lively Herenweg. Around the corner from the Wandelbos Groenendaal, near schools and the center of Heemstede.

The house is largely still in its original condition. This is immediately noticeable when entering the house. In the hall the beautiful stained glass windows are still present and in the spacious living room is the beautiful en-suite with again the beautiful stained glass. The house has a good size. On the first floor are 2 large bedrooms, 1 with patio doors to the roof terrace. The third bedroom is a great study/children's room with a closet.
There are currently 2 bedrooms on the second floor, but a different layout makes it possible to create more bedrooms here. The garden faces west, so you can enjoy your meal on the terrace in the evening sun. Due to the size of the garden, there is sun all day long!

The house is located in a very child-friendly neighborhood around the corner from the Wandelbos van Groenendaal. The station of Heemstede-Aerdenhout with intercity to Amsterdam, The Hague and Rotterdam is only 6 minutes by bike. The center of Heemstede is 5 minutes by bike, the center of Haarlem can be reached within 15 minutes by bike and the dunes and the beach are 30 minutes by bike. The roads to Amsterdam, Schiphol, Alkmaar, Utrecht, The Hague and Rotterdam are easily accessible within a few minutes by car. In short: a beautiful house in an ideal location, where every family will feel at home!

Heemstede

Heemstede is a municipality and a town in the province of North Holland. Heemstede was formed around the Castle Heemstede, which was built overlooking the Spaarne River around 1286. Before 1296, Floris V, Count of Holland, granted Heemstede as a fiefdom to Reinier of Holy. During the 14th century, a village formed near the castle, which was destroyed and rebuilt several times in this period. A resident of this castle was Adriaan Pauw, who bought it in 1620. In 1653, Bennebroek split off from Heemstede, becoming a separate fiefdom.
