This charming three-room apartment of 78m is located on the third and fourth floor of a building in the popular Nine Streets neighbourhood in Amsterdam, and has a roof terrace and storage space basement. The apartment is part of a small-scale building project that was delivered in 1997. It is a very light apartment and has a wonderful feel to it.

The Nine Streets is a very popular and vibrant neighbourhood and is centrally situated in the heart of the ring of canals (part of the World Heritage List). In addition, you will also find beautiful, centuries-old architecture, characteristic and impressive buildings. Around Elandsgracht and Westermarkt there are many shops to be found for your daily shopping.

The apartment can be reached by car via the Rozengracht and the Marnixstraat. There are tram connections within walking distance on Spui (tram 1, 2, and 5) and in Marnixstraat you will find stops for trams 7 and 10. The Marnixstraat bus station offers many travel opportunities within Amsterdam but also for outside of the city and Central Station is only a 10-minute bicycle ride away.

Ground floor:
The common entrance leads you to a spacious staircase and access to the storage space in the basement.

Third floor:
Direct access to the very light and spacious apartment. One of the bedrooms is situated at the rear of the apartment and has sliding doors to a Juliette balcony. Across from the front door you will find a separate toilet. The kitchen-cum-living-room is very spacious, too. The kitchen is fitted with various modern built-in appliances such as a fridge and freezer, an induction hob and an oven/microwave combination. The storage room is next to the kitchen and includes a mechanical ventilation and a central heating boiler from 2012. The spacious and light living room at the front has two big sliding patio doors facing south.

The winding stairs in the living room lead up to the fourth floor.

Fourth floor:
The hall: here, you have access to a good-sized bathroom with a shower cubicle, a bath, double washbasin, a toilet, and connections for a washing machine and dryer. There is even extra space in the hall to build an extra wall unit. From the hall you can access the spacious bedroom. And next to the bedroom there is a lovely big roof terrace facing the sunny south. You can see both Herengracht and Keizersgracht from here.

Both the hall and the bathroom benefit from a roof dome.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
