Description

Detached semi-bungalow for sale with bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor on the edge of a residential area, surrounded by greenery. The house has many extras such as an extra-large garage (approx. 3.50 x 11 m) with power current, solar panels, and shutters all around and is located on a spacious corner plot of 495 m2.

Layout
Entrance hall with loft and staircase, toilet, and access to the living room and bedroom on the ground floor. From the living and dining room, there is access to the reasonably closed kitchen. From the kitchen, there is access to the utility room, from where you can enter the bathroom, the garage, or the backyard. Here is also a washing machine connection. There is also a door between the bedroom and the bathroom.

Floor
At the top of the stairs, you reach a spacious landing (with storage space behind sliding doors) which gives access to two spacious bedrooms. On the landing, there is a skylight and the washing machine and dryer, as well as the central heating boiler and mechanical ventilation. This space can be closed off, creating a separate laundry room, or even an extra bedroom or study. A second bathroom can also be created here. Under the tiled floor is already an electric underfloor heating, intended for a shower and toilet room to be installed later.

Living
Light, air, and space. With the many large windows, you bring the outside into the house. Everywhere you look you see green. At the rear, you have a view of the backyard and at the front and through the side windows you look over your own garden to the adjacent park.
The living room is neatly finished with plastered walls and an oak wooden floor. In winter it is wonderful to relax around the fireplace.

Cooking
The kitchen is separated from the living room behind a wall but still has an open connection. There is a built-in kitchen with appliances and enough space to organize the kitchen differently at your own discretion.

Sleeping
You can sleep in this house on the ground floor. On the first floor are two more spacious bedrooms and the possibility of a fourth bedroom or study. Behind the sliding doors in the bedrooms upstairs there is still a lot of storage space under the sloping roof.

to bathe
You will find the bathroom adjacent to the bedroom on the ground floor. This bathroom is tiled to the ceiling and equipped with a washbasin with a double washbasin, large walk-in shower, bath, and design radiator.

Garden
The spacious garden surrounding the house is surrounded by a high hedge. Behind it, you will not find any rear neighbors, but a park. Privacy is therefore guaranteed. The garden is landscaped with several terraces and large espaliers for the necessary shade.

Garage
Through the hall at the rear of the house, you enter the extended and insulated garage (walls and roof). This was extended at the time to be able to have their own business at home and power electricity was installed for the same purpose. There are windows in the facade of the garden and we are sure that this space is suitable for many purposes. Except for parking cars or a boat, this is a wonderful hobby room. The attached part is prepared for underfloor heating, the entire garage has a crawl space. With a permanent facade, a business or practice at home such as a beauty salon is also quickly realized.

From the garage, there is also access to the garden. The door is electrically operated.
The 16 solar panels are placed on the roof of the garage. No ugly panels on the tiled roof of the house and there is still room for dormer windows and a large number of solar panels for an economical energy bill.

Huizen

Huizen has an unexpected beauty, as it borders the Gooimeer (Gooi Lake) and is surrounded by the Gooi area’s beautiful scenery. Furthermore it has a rich history, the remains of which are still present and visible. In the 17th century Huizen used to be a village of farmers, with commons for their cattle. Many of these old farm houses still stand, surrounding the medieval Dutch Reformed Church in the town center.

In the 18th century Huizen developed into a fishing village with one of the largest fishing fleets around the Zuiderzee, which is now the IJsselmeer (IJssel Lake). When the IJsselmeer Dam was finished, so was the fishing industry of Huizen. Sons of fishermen retrained to be skilled craftsmen in the building industry, and fish traders applied themselves to cheese trading. Huizen still displays many relics of its history. In the past decades Huizen has developed into a modern town bordering the Gooi Lake, with a number of marinas, a lively shopping area in the town centre and some important tourist attractions.
