Description

Javaplein 10 B stunning apartment in the heart of Oost borough with an unobstructed view

Situated in the vibrant heart of Oost borough, this new residential complex was built in 2011. Soon after, it was named Amsterdam's most beautiful new development. Do the fantastic location, the advantages of a new property and the building's charm make your heart skip a beat? Read on and find out that the apartment is so high up that the view of the surroundings is uninterrupted. On a clear day, you can even see the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Come home, take the elevator to the 4th floor and enjoy the breathtaking view. Due to its corner positioning, this apartment has more windows than most. These windows are almost floor to ceiling and there is a Juliette balcony so that you can open them up and enjoy the fresh air. Let the sun shine in! And the terrace off the bedrooms is the perfect outdoor space to unwind.

LAYOUT
Ground floor and entrance
Park your bicycle in the bicycle parking facility and take either the stairs or the elevator up from the basement level. You can also enter the building via the elegant entrance on bustling Javaplein. A home with sidewalk cafes on your doorstep - Amsterdam at its finest. Upstairs, enjoy the peace and quiet. The apartment is spacious and everything is new. With an optimized floorplan, the apartment feels larger than its 86 sqm of usable floor area suggests. An added bonus is that the apartment includes a large closet and a utility/storage room for the laundry station, supplies and coats.

Living room with an open-plan kitchen
Because this side of the building faces southwest, the sun shines into the apartment throughout the day. Open all five sets of French doors, with a Juliette balcony, and enjoy the sunshine with the sounds of the city in the background. And even from the couch, the view of the city is beautiful. The corner layout kitchen is in a neutral color scheme and is fitted with a full range of appliances.

Bedrooms and bathroom
This apartment features 2 large bedrooms, both have French doors that open to the terrace. Again, the color scheme is neutral, which means that you can easily decorate to suit your own specific tastes. The extremely spacious bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, shower, a double vanity and a second toilet. The contemporary bathroom clearly reflects the fact that this building is only 10 years old.

LOCATION
If you're somewhat familiar with Amsterdam, you'll know that this is a super location. Oost has seen a dramatic transformation in recent years. Preserving its character and original charm, the neighborhood has been lifted to a higher level. The result is not just reflected by the beautiful, new buildings and well-maintained historic properties, but also by the excellent choice of restaurants and cafes and shops. The ground floor of the building is home to several businesses. Grab a piping hot cup of coffee and take the tram - that stops out front - to Muiderpoort station. Which is also just a 3-minute bicycle ride away. And by car, the A10 beltway is only a 5-minute drive from the property.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Apartments

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
