Super well laid out, bright and perfectly finished 3-room apartment with sunny balcony (South) in the trendy Indische Buurt!

The building and therefore also the apartment was completely renovated in 2015, so packing and moving is the motto here!

The apartment is located in the quiet part of Javastraat, just behind the renovated Javaplein. On the other side of the square, you are directly in cozy Javastraat where the boutiques, specialty shops, tokos, bars and coffee shops have sprouted like mushrooms. The supermarket, liquor store, drugstore and pharmacy are a 3-minute walk from the apartment.

Start your day with a delicious cup of coffee at the Coffee Company, browse the latest fashion at Coffee Boutique Hartje Oost or start a little later with a surprising brunch at the Australian Drover's Dog. In the afternoon, you can have a beer at Oepidus Brewery in the old Badhuis, with the unique sun-drenched terrace where you can enjoy the sun until sunset, or at Brouwerij 't IJ. In the evening, you can also choose from various catering establishments such as Bar Basquiat and The Walter Woodbury Bar in Javastraat (real places to be!) or, for example, Bar Botanique and Restaurant Wilde Zwijnen. The best falafel in town can be found at Tigris&Eufratis or have a nice barbecue in the Oosterpark!

You no longer have to leave the neighborhood because in addition to all the shops you can find in Javastraat, you can also shop in the Oostpoort shopping center. Would you still like to to go the city center or De Pijp? With a 10-minute bike ride, you are on Dam Square or you walk across the Albert Cuyp.

By car, you reach the Ring A10 (east) within 10 minutes via the Amsterdam bridge or via Piet Hein tunnel.
If you travel by public transport: NS Muiderpoort station is a 5-minute walk and/or tram 14 takes you directly to Rembrandtplein/Dam Square and bus 22 to Central Station stops around the corner.

There is also no shortage of green and sports facilities; in addition to relaxing in the Oosterpark, you can swim in the Flevoparkbad or jog through the Diemerpark. You can even train at a very modern and professional sports club around the corner from your apartment! And you can walk straight to the Coffee Company for a freshly made smoothie. Or go cycling in the rural North towards Durgerdam!

In short: a nice and yet quiet location in the bustling Indische Buurt!

You enter the house on the 2nd floor via the spacious and well-maintained staircase.
The living room with open kitchen is located at the front of the building and overlooks the wide Javastraat and Gorontalostraat through large windows. Lots of light and little insight! There is enough space for a cozy sitting area and dining table.

The kitchen is complete and well finished; handle-less, high-gloss white with grey composite worktop and equipped with all built-in appliances including a refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, combination microwave and flat screen hood. The owners have added a separate island in the style of the kitchen for extra space, which can also be used as a cozy bar.

At the rear are 2 well-sized bedrooms, both of which provide access to the house-wide balcony, located on the South. Here you can enjoy the sun during the day. The second bedroom is currently used as a nursery but can also serve as an office, walk-in closet or guest room.

The bathroom and separate toilet are located in the middle of the apartment and have a sleek and fresh finish. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, washbasin with furniture and connection for washing machine and possibly a dryer. The floating toilet with hand basin is finished in the same style.
The apartment has a neat and sleek finish, all walls and ceilings are plastered and painted. On the floor is an 18cm wide white oiled wooden slat parquet floor.

The buildings were completely stripped during the renovation, a better layout was created and equipped with contemporary requirements such as good sound insulation for floors and walls. In addition, all (water) pipes, central heating and electricity were renewed and all frames, including insulating glazing, were replaced.

Last but not least: on the ground floor there is a joint, closed bicycle shed

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
