Tuindorp is located on the south side of Ouderkerk aan de Amstel; on the edge of the natural environment and very near the cozy center of Ouderkerk. Amsterdam is also just fifteen minutes by bike along the Amstel river. There are various shops and catering facilities within a short distance, both by car, on foot and by bicycle. There is a school in the neighbourhood, the Jan Hekmanschool, where you can also go for after-school care.
