Description

Modern and loft-like apartment of approx 89 m2 with spectacular views, 2 balconies, parking space and a storage room!

This beautiful house is located on the first floor of a small apartment complex which was completed in 2016. The complex has an elevator, storage rooms in the basement and a parking garage. After the realization of the building the current residents ,together with an architect, composed this characteristic design. The house offers great comfort and is very tastefully finished. High quality and luxurious materials have been used.

Layout
Entrance, you can take the elevator or stairs to the 1st floor. Upon entering it is immediately clear that the space has been utilized in a creative way. Perhaps the strongest feature of the house is the view. By realizing a central block for the wet areas, the sightlines are guaranteed at all times. The living room is at the front of the apartment. The huge sliding door extends from the floor to the ceiling and provides much interaction between the living room and the balcony. On this balcony you can enjoy 1 of the most special views of the city. You can also sit here and enjoy the sunset during a summer evening. Like many things, the bookcase in the living room is custom made for the apartment.
The kitchen is centrally located and a real eye-catcher. It is equipped with all kinds of Siemens appliances such as an induction hob, oven, fridge, freezer and Quooker. There is no lack of storage space. A nice detail are the high cabinets which continue to the closets in the bedroom. The dining table next to the extension of the central block.
As mentioned before, this block houses several facilities. For example, there is a separate room for your washer and dryer. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and sink. On the other side of the block is a separate toilet. Everything has very ingeniously been incorporated into the design.
The bedroom is at the rear of the apartment and can be closed off from the rest of the house by sliding doors. It is spacious and has a separate balcony.
In the hall at the front door large fitted wardrobes have been created. In the basement of the complex are the parking lot and storage room.

Surroundings
The Amstel Quarter is a new part of town right on the Amstel River with a nice selection of bars, restaurants, stores, schools, sports facilities, beautiful parks and a beautiful marina. The combination of new construction with historic buildings and its location makes the Amstel Quarter a true hotspot of Amsterdam. Directly on the Amstel, but also close to the center, located between Zuid and the Watergraafsmeer. The Amstel Station is a 10-minute walk away and metro station Spaklerweg is a 1-minute walk. This metro station is connected to no less than three lines (51, 53 and 54). Several schools and universities are within cycling distance.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Apartments

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
