WOW this is once again entering a lovely bustling place in Amsterdam East, near the Beukenplein with all its nice terraces and restaurants! We offer a beautifully 2-room apartment of approximately 38 m2. This feels like coming home!

A nice advantage is that the house is located on OWN GROUND. And you really don't have to do anything here! Move stuff and you can live here!

At the front of the apartment you will find the vibrant city life with a nice view over the attractive square with 2 jeu de boule courts. From the cozy balcony you have a wonderful view over the trees.

Would you also like to experience this pleasant feeling? We are happy to show you the house.

The entrance of the house on the third floor is accessible via the communal, upholstered and well-maintained staircase. The apartment is located at the front of the complex. The spacious living room is light and the entire apartment has a high ceiling for that extra spacious feeling. The apartment has an oak floor, plastered walls and a modern kitchen with all amenities (dishwasher, combi oven and plenty of storage space). Through the patio doors to the balcony, located on the southeast, you can also enjoy a cup of coffee or work in the sun with a laptop. The bedroom has enough space for a double bed and wardrobes. The bathroom is modernly tiled and has a luxurious walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The bathroom also has space for the washing machine and dryer and the central heating system is located here.
In short, this apartment is a compact but fully equipped house ready to move into!

At a top location in Amsterdam East, near the Oosterpark. In the immediate vicinity you will find an abundance of shops. Including Albert Heijn and Marqt. But also the new shopping center Oostpoort. Are you more the type for a market within minutes you are at the Dappermarkt and the Albert Cuyp. The Beukenplein with many nice cafes and restaurants can be found within walking distance. Here is a short, but by no means complete overview of the places to be: Biertuin, Rijsel, Volkshotel, Bar Bukowski / Henry's Bar, Dauphine, Eddy Spaghetti, Maxwell, Smoking Barrels, Bidou, Thaicoon and of course the various lunch and coffee places such as Club coffee, Coffee Bru or Rum baba. Public transport is within reach, trams and buses on the Linnaeusstraat, while the Muiderpoort and Amstel stations are also nearby, for train or metro transport.
Recreation or sports can be done in park Frankendael or Oosterpark, but also the Flevoparkbad, the Mirandabad or the Sportfondsenbad are nearby. In addition, you can go to various sports and yoga schools such as "Sportsworld" in the old milk factory.

seller tells:
The house is located above a takeaway coffee shop. Not the burden (such as odor nuisance) but the advantage of very good security, and you can always pick up your mail parcels there! As the current resident said: "the employees of the coffee shop are always very friendly and nowhere do I feel as safe in Amsterdam as here!"

MVA neighbourhood information: Transvaalbuurt

The Transvaalbuurt lies between the Transvaalkade, The Wibautstraat, The railroad Amsterdam, Muiderpoort and the Linnaeusstraat. There are few green facilities, but there are several initiatives from the inhibitants to create some more social gardens. Most buildings in this area are styled by the Amsterdam School, with special details. This neighbourhood is one of the areas which needed to be renewed and that is what happened. The extra effort made sure that the quality of living in this area is increased.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
