Landsmeer is a municipality and a town in the province of North Holland. The municipality of Landsmeer consists of three villages: Den Ilp, Landsmeer and Purmerland. Thanks to the green area between Zaanstad, Amsterdam and Purmerend, the municipality still boasts a water-rich landscape with lots of greenery. Landsmeer is also known for the nature reserve Het Twiske.
