Lansingerland is a municipality that was established on 1 January 2007 through a fusion of Berkel en Rodenrijs, Bleiswijk and Bergschenhoek in the Dutch province of South Holland. Lansingerland consists of three villages and two hamlets, all with their own character. Bleiswijk and hamlet Kruisweg: village life with the Rotte lake area in your back yard. Bergschenhoek and hamlet Rotte: the front yard of the Hilleger hill and a village surrounded by lots of greenery. Berkel en Rodenrijs: quiet and spacious, with good public transportation links and city-like amenities. All of this at a stone’s throw from big cities like Rotterdam and The Hague.
