The Hoofddorppleinbuurt consists of three neighbourhoods: The Hoofddorppleinbuurt lies west of city part South and is parted of the other area’s by the Schinkel. The area has been built during the 20e century as part of Plan-West. The Hoofddorpplein forms the central traffic-point, many hospitality and shops can mainly be found within this part of the neighbourhood. Several things have changed in the last couple of years in this neighbourhood, let houses were renovated into condominiums and this attracted a lot of new people which had a positive impact on the neighbourhood.
