Description

This spacious and well kept corner apartment of 168m2 is located in the heart of the Rivierenbuurt. It contains 4 good sized bedrooms and has a large and peaceful roof terrace where you can enjoy the sun all day long. It was entirely renovated with utmost care in 2018, preserving some original details, such as the two fireplaces in the living room and the panel doors. Due to the corner location on the southeast, the apartment is very light and has an open view over the cozy Maasstraat.

The house is in stunning condition and has a perfectly distributed layout. Furthermore, it offers many possibilities for accommodating future expansion needs, such as the realization of a roof extension (subject to environmental permit) or the creation of a loft for an extra room for the children.

The apartment was carefully insulated and equipped with a heat recovery ventilation system. It received an Energy label B, which is not common in older buildings. Certain banks can reward the good energy grading with a discount on the interest rate if you arrange a mortgage loan.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.
