Very attractive semi-detached house with a fantastic backyard of over 32 meters. Front, side and backyard with back. Ground floor completely renovated in 2014 and expanded with extra room! Wonderful light through the many windows. 3 bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. On the edge of the old center of Heemstede and yet close to all amenities.

This characteristic bay window house from 1909 is located in one of the nicest streets of the old village of Heemstede. The corner house has a charming appearance and has been largely renovated in recent years, with many energy-saving measures being taken, including a new central heating boiler, lots of HR ++ glass, solar panels, wall insulation, floor insulation and almost completely equipped with roof insulation. The house has been extended, creating a spacious living room, kitchen and study/playroom. On the first floor are the good bedrooms and the bathroom. The beautiful balcony at the front of the house is particularly attractive. The very spacious backyard is the reason why the sellers bought the house 27 years ago. There are several seating areas and terraces, but also a wide variety of flowers, plants and shrubs.

It is nice to live in the old village of Heemstede. Diagonally across the street is a nice playground with a soccer field. Around the corner from this quiet road is the Wilhelminaplein with, among other things, a local bakery. This square is especially pleasant on King's Day and with the food truck festival. There are several good schools of different types of primary and secondary education, including Nicolaas Beetsschool, Voorwegschool and Hageveld college. The sports facilities are fantastic. At the end of the road is a swimming pool, baseball club, tennis club, football club, but also a dance school and a skate park.
The walking forest "Groenendaal" and shopping street "De Binnenweg" are in the immediate vicinity. The roads to Amsterdam, Schiphol and The Hague are nearby and the center of Haarlem can be reached within 15 minutes by bike.

Heemstede is a municipality and a town in the province of North Holland. Heemstede was formed around the Castle Heemstede, which was built overlooking the Spaarne River around 1286. Before 1296, Floris V, Count of Holland, granted Heemstede as a fiefdom to Reinier of Holy. During the 14th century, a village formed near the castle, which was destroyed and rebuilt several times in this period. A resident of this castle was Adriaan Pauw, who bought it in 1620. In 1653, Bennebroek split off from Heemstede, becoming a separate fiefdom.
