Available again! One of the most beautiful apartments in the special Dépôt Zuid project in Oud-Zuid. Super spacious and bright corner apartment on the fourth floor with windows on three sides, a lovely terrace (2.5 x 11m!) on the southwest. DEPOT ZUID is a former monumental warehouse, redeveloped into sturdy and luxurious loft apartments. Total living area approximately 209 m² (excluding storage room and terrace), the ceiling height is approximately 2.95 meters.

The house has an almost 11m wide living room, a master suite with dressing room and spacious bathroom, 2nd and 3rd bedroom with private bathroom, a laundry and a large storage room. The apartment is currently under construction, the buyer can still think along in finishing choices. Construction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2021.

Living on one floor, with elevator and double parking space in the parking garage under the building.

An interior design for the loft was made by Kabaz architects, encompassing a ca. 110 sqm living room with an optional gas-burning fireplace, a beautifully designed Italian Boffi kitchen and 3 bedrooms, including a master suite with a dressing room. Every bedroom has a private bathroom fitted with Boffi furnishings. A parking garage will be situated in the building's substructure, which will also include a private storage unit and a communal bicycle storage. Two parking spaces are offered for sale with this loft. The building will feature an elegant entrance and lobby with an elevator that opens directly into the apartment.
The expansive terrace is ideal for implementing a green landscaping plan and is the perfect spot for outdoor dining and entertaining. The exceptional indoor-outdoor flow is further enhanced by the slender-framed sliding doors that span the full width of the living room. Corten steel shutters ensure maximum privacy relative to the street below.

The price includes provisional costs for furnishing the kitchen and bathrooms. Buyer still has a choice in the implementation of kitchen and bathrooms. The apartment will be finished with plastered and painted walls and ceilings.

Originally designed as an office and warehouse, later used as an art depot during the renovation of Rijksmuseum. This historic warehouse in Oud-Zuid borough is undergoing redevelopment into a high-end residential building with an elevator and parking garage. This is a small-scale project: accommodating just 18 exceptional and spacious loft apartments, unparalleled in Oud-Zuid.

Dépôt Zuid is a remarkable building, due to its size and striking, light bricks. Its classic structure with a vertical trichotomy of the facades and the symmetrical horizontal lines lend the robust building sophisticated appeal.
Other striking characteristics: dark lines in the masonry, arched windows and offset roofline. The unique personality of the building inspired &Prast&Hooft architects to transform this one-hundred-year-old warehouse into a modern apartment building. The addition of materials such as Belgian bluestone, Corten steel, glazed bricks, bronze and ample glass have updated the building's appearance. The characteristic facades have been retained, the inside of the building is completely new and meets the highest standards in terms of comfort and isolation.

Dépôt Zuid will have two main entrances: on Frans van Mierisstraat and on Nicolaas Maesstraat. Both will access 8 homes each. Vaulted ceilings and the exceptional choice of materials lend the entrances a monumental, almost museum-like look and feel. The design was inspired by Mies van der Rohe's world-famous Barcelona Pavilion. Similar to the pavilion, the building will have a green open-book marble slab: sawed through perpendicular to the texture of the stone, as though folded open. A work of art in its own right.
All properties are fitted with a video intercom system and electronically secured locks. The elevators from the garage and main entrances will open directly into the apartments.

A private parking garage will be built under the Dépôt Zuid building, accessible by a car elevator. The parking garage will be fitted with electric charging stations and will also accommodate the storage units for the apartments and a communal bicycle storage. The storage unit spans approximately 6 sqm. Configuration of the parking spaces consists of rows of 2 back-to-back spaces. The purchase price for the double parking space amounts to 180,000 euro costs-to-buyer (notary fees payable by seller).

Nicolaas Maesstraat is a quiet side street off Van Baerlestraat. A home in Museum Quarter in Oud-Zuid means that all amenities are around the corner: from the most beautiful museums and Concertgebouw to the city's best restaurants and shops.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
