Modern, tranquility and spacious are the characteristics of this very spacious apartment (approx. 158 m²), which is located on the first and second floor, with a large roof terrace with a beautiful view of the Pereboomsloot, near the Vliegenbos. The house (own ground) has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating throughout the house and has its own parking space with a charging station.
The house, consisting of two layers with roof structure and roof terrace, is very light and spacious due to the use of large glass fronts, an indoor skylight and two balconies on both sides. At any time of the day you can stay outside in a pleasant spot outside.

The interior of this house is well thought out and cleverly executed. Every space has been optimally used. For example, built-in wardrobes in the hall and in the bedrooms have been made for storage space, which are neatly concealed.

The layout of the house is as follows;
The apartment has its own entrance. Hallway and corner staircase to the first floor.
The first floor is divided into a living room and kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, separate toilet with fountain, technical room and a storage room. In the technical room is the WTW connection, central heating with air-water heat pump, as well as the connection for the solar panels and the washing machine. The storage room is very spacious due to its dimensions (approx. 2.87 m x 1.52 m).

At the front is the master bedroom, with a large en-suite bathroom walk-in shower, bath, widened sink and a floating toilet. The room has nice French windows doors to the balcony. The master bedroom is closed by a pivot door that extends from the floor to the ceiling, giving the room a stylish look.
On the right side of the hall is the second bedroom, currently in use as a children's bedroom. The bedroom has direct access to the second bathroom with a tiled walk-in shower and washbasin. This room is also equipped with a pivot door on the cove side.

A cove has been made in the middle of the house for extra light, making the house look extremely light. This cove also serves as a natural separation between the sleeping area and the spacious living area. The straight staircase has also been placed here to the building and the spacious roof terrace. Here you can enjoy the sun all day long and the beautiful view of the sailing boats in the summer.

The beautiful white designer kitchen with island is striking. The kitchen is fully equipped, such as a Quooker tap, built-in 5-burner induction hob, oven, dishwasher and large fridge-freezer. The counter top is from Caesarstone. The kitchen organically flows into the very spacious living room, the relaxed fine reading corner with a wood stove, and the dining table by the window on the water side.

The structure currently consists of a lounge and music room, but can be used excellently as a third bedroom. Here is also access to the roof terrace.

The property is located in the part of Amsterdam Noord that exudes creativity and originality. There is a lot of artistic activity on the site. Living and working are combined, so that the area looks more like a cultural business park than an average residential area. The activity is quiet and the grounds are closed with a barrier.

Noord is ideal thanks to its location and nature. You combine the enjoyment of rural living with the convenience of the city within cycling distance. Not only the city is easily accessible, the Waterland is also close by. Amsterdam-Noord is developing at breakneck speed into a much-loved residential environment with a great diversity of catering establishments. The ADAM Toren, film theater EYE, FC Hyena are turning Amsterdam-North into a hotspot with increasing allure, which is far from being fully developed.

You can do your daily shopping on the Purmerplein with a wide variety of craft shops, the Waterlandplein shopping center as well as the grocers on the Meeuwenlaan (Dirk v.d. Broek and the Polish Supermarket) and the Gedempt Hamerkwartier (Food Market) and the Mosveld. The soipping center “Boven 't Y” is about 2 km away, where the larger retail chains are (HEMA, H&M, Holland & Barret, Etos) and also its the cinema Euroscoop.

The A-10 ring road with its highways is nearby and there is good additional public transport next to the metro. The Noord-Zuid subway line is less than 5 minutes by bike. Various bus lines run on Purmerplen and Meeuwenlaan.

MVA neighbourhood information: IJplein/Vogelbuurt

The neighbourhood Vogelbuurt-Ijplein lies at the IJ, at the eastside of the North-Dutch Canal and south of the Nieuwendammerdijk. The Vogelbuurt originates from the 1920s and the neighbourhood within Vogelbuurt called Ijplein was built later on. In this area you can find the ‘’Vliegenbos’’, which is the oldest city forest of Amsterdam. Ijplein/Vogelbuurt is a so called focus area, which means that the government invests extra money in it.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
