Description

For sale! Lovely place, good atmosphere, beautiful location, just another very nice and charming 2-1 detached house a stone's throw from the Winkelstraat, so pack your things and immediately enjoy living, enjoying and living! The house has been extensively renovated in the past year (see list “renovations”). The house has had a huge upgrade in terms of construction technology and build quality. A good start has already been made on the inside, but the new residents can still dot the i's and cross the t's, so it's still nice to finish it according to your own idea/taste. The spacious backyard has been landscaped under architecture and offers every opportunity to relax and unwind in the sun after a hard day's work. The isolated outbuilding can of course also serve as a studio or home office. Due to its central location, all amenities are within walking distance.

The location:
Zwanenburg is a cozy little village on the edge of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer. The village has a long shopping street with a wide variety of shops, there is/are a lot of greenery/parks, good primary schools, several sports and recreation associations and a wide choice of different houses from different construction years. Amsterdam and Haarlem are only 5 minutes by car and are also accessible by public transport (Line 80 and 179).
The NS train station (Halfweg/Sugarcity) is a 5-minute bike ride from the house. The travel time to both Amsterdam CS and Haarlem CS is less than 10 minutes!! So safe and quiet living in a green environment, but the center of the 2 nicest cities in the Netherlands can be reached within 10 minutes. At the end of 2020, the doors of the 'thestyle outlets' on the former site of the Sugar Factory will be opened, 115 luxury clothing stores and the necessary catering establishments will be established here. This is only a 15 minute walk from the house.

Zwanenburg

Zwanenburg is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is part of the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, and lies about 11 km west of Amsterdam. The infrastructure linking its neighbouring town of Halfweg to Haarlem and Amsterdam was already quite good, so Zwanenburg became a true commuter town. Halfweg was also the site of a large sugar factory, first opened in 1863, that served as an employer for Zwanenburg residents for more than a century. For this reason, the history of Zwanenburg cannot be seen separately from the history of Halfweg.
