Environment and accessibility
De Omval has several residential buildings, but the Rembrandttoren is a defining feature of this district; the tallest building in the city, the Mondriaan Tower and the Breitner Tower. The building is located near the Amstel near the Berlagebrug, which connects East with South. Via the Omvalbrug you reach the Amstelkwartier with the park Somerlust, a swimming spot with sunbathing area.
Several rowing clubs and sports centers are located in the vicinity. Trendy catering establishments: George Marina, L'Ostria, t Huis aan de Amstel, but there are also those on the other side along the Weesperzijde: Hesp, Weesper, Loulou, de Ysbreeker, Dau to name a few.

For daily shopping, a shopping center will be built on Julianaplein, including a Jumbo supermarket.

The apartment is within walking distance of Amstel Station, with very good train connections, metro and bus. You can reach the Gooiseweg within 5 minutes by car and by bike you can reach the center in no time.
