Description

This beautiful 2-bedroom apartment is a real must-see if you like to live on a lovely quiet spot in the heart of the city. It is located on the second floor of the building and has vast windows over three sides. The apartment is fully rebuilt in 2012 and has a rich inventory.

Next to the master bedroom and annex with a shower and toilet, is a second somewhat smaller bedroom ( bed 160 cm ) and an annex with bathtub and separate shower.

There is also a separate toilet.

In the master bedroom there is the possibility of two separate beds or one king size of 180 cm.

The luxurious kitchen has all appliances and is perfectly situated in the living-dining room. The apartment comes with a washing machine and dryer.

The whole apartment has a solid oak parquet floor.

From the living room you have a beautiful view over the Bickersgracht, a canal connected to the harbour and the canals in the nearby famous Jordaan.

Right next to the building is a collective garden for catching up in summer with your neighbours. At the opposite site of the canal are a lively swimming spot and a petting zoo.

Prinseneiland is one of the western islands in the center of Amsterdam. Its 17e century harbour warehouses have been converted into apartments. The presence of a lot of practicing artists, small companies, shipyards and marinas makes a very cosy and relaxed atmosphere. There is no traffic going through, so it feels you are in a village within the city.
This unique part of the city has become an attractive living and working environment. It is a short walking distance from the Haarlemmerdijk, the best shopping street in The Netherlands, and to the Jordaan and Central Station. But by bike it's the best way to move around the city!
There are organic markets at Noordermarket in the Jordaan and at the Haarlemmer Square.
The Westerpark (Culture Park) is nearby, with various facilities such as cinemas, several clubs and restaurants, fairs and festivals. And if you wish you can work out in the park.

And last but not least, the A-10 ring highway is fast and easily accessible.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
