The backyard has a lovely terrace on the water. The house has 19 solar panels and energy label A.

About the neighbourhood:
This house (2006) is situated on a quiet road in the child friendly neighbourhood Weidevenne. The backyard of the house borders to water. Right behind the house is the park Purmerland, which includes a playground. The lively centre of Purmerend with its many shops, restaurants and the Purmerends Museum is only 5 minutes by bike. The Weidevenne shopping centre, including a supermarket, is within walking or short cycling distance. Childcare and primary school are within walking distance of the house, while secondary education is easily accessible by bike. The many sports facilities in Purmerend are also within cycling distance.

The bus stop is a few minutes' walk away, and the Weidevenne railway station is about 10 minutes' walk from the home. By car, you can drive in a few minutes to the A7 motorway, which leads on the one hand to Hoorn and on the other hand, via the connecting A8 and the A10 ring road, to Zaandam and Amsterdam.

Layout of the house:
Through the fenced, partly green, partly paved front garden you reach the front door of the house. Bright entrance with glass front and vide. Here you will find the meter closet and a storage closet, the staircase to the first floor, access to the beautifully tiled floating toilet with hand basin and access to the living room with open kitchen. Through the kitchen, the adjacent garage is accessible. The bright living room has wide, high windows and is therefore very light. The living room offers enough room for a spacious seating area and a dining table and through a sliding door and a French door there is access to the garden. The straight kitchen (Siematic) with cooking island has camee fronts and the following equipment is available: a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave, an induction cooker, a refrigerator and an electric grill. There is plenty of cupboard space. The kitchen has windows both in front and behind. The living room, hall and kitchen have light-coloured tiles. The entire ground floor has underfloor heating. Walls and ceilings are neatly finished in a light colour scheme.

First floor:
Through the beautiful beechwooden open staircase in the entrance / atrium you reach the landing of the first floor. This provides access to three spacious bedrooms, the bathroom and a storage room with the connections for washer and dryer. All bedrooms receive plenty of daylight through wide windows. On the floor is laminate. Walls and ceilings are neatly finished in a light colour scheme. The beautifully tiled, spacious bathroom is located centrally on the floor, at the rear of the house. Here are a floating toilet, a jacuzzi, a design radiator, a vanity unit with double sink and mirror, recessed spotlights and a walk-in shower.

Second floor:
Here is the attic. There is the possibility to realise a ridge heightening of 1 meter. For this, the municipality will issue a permit. With the heightening a new, complete floor can be realized.

Garden:
The house has a partly green, partly tiled front, side and back garden. The backyard has a terrace adjacent to the water. A wonderful place to relax! There is ample opportunity for the realization of fine lounge areas. In the backyard is a beautiful wooden shed with electricity and a canopy. There is a back entrance through the side of the house.

Purmerend

Purmerend was originally a fishing village, but a banker from Amsterdam was allowed to build a castle there, which was completed in 1413. 31 years later Purmerend was given a charter to become a city. There is a large indoor shopping centre in the middle of Purmerend that has all of the major shops and stores that you will usually find in any Dutch town or city. It also houses some small, interesting and eclectic shops, however, and more of these can be found in the surrounding streets. There is an interesting little market close to the shopping centre as well.

Your purchasing agent knows the market like no other

When you enlist the services of a purchasing agent who is affiliated with the MVA or NVM, you can be sure he or she knows all the ins and outs of the relevant market. Especially when housing prices are volatile, you can be assured that your estate agent is taking all the necessary factors into account.
