Location and accessibility:
This spacious property is located in the quiet Buitenveldert urban district in Amsterdam Zuid. This excellent location is very green. The Zuidas business district, Amsterdam’s other urban districts and the centre of Amstelveen are all within very easy reach. The property is also located near the Groot Gelderlandplein shopping centre, which has a wide range of shops, supermarkets and specialist shops and some great cafés, restaurants and bistros too. Shops on the Buitenveldertselaan can cater for your everyday shopping needs too. With a number of (international) schools in the area, there is no shortage of choice in this respect either. Anyone who is interested in sport and recreation will enjoy the many parks located near the property. These include the Gijsbrecht van Aemstelpark, the Amsterdamse Bos, the Bosbaan rowing lake, the Beatrixpark and the Amstelpark. The property is easy to reach by various modes of transport, with a number of public transport links (bus and tram stops) close by, and the A10 and A2 arterial roads can be accessed in just several minutes by car.

The entrance to the house, which has an entrance vestibule. On the right, there is a utility room with plenty of storage space and connections for a washing machine. The central heating system is located here too. A hall gives access to all of the rooms on this floor and has a built-in coat closet too. The closed kitchen has big windows and is located at the front of the property. One of many possibilities would be to open up the kitchen, connecting it to the living room, and create a large open-plan space. There is also a separate toilet with a washbasin on this floor. The property’s spacious living room has large sliding doors that give access to the spacious garden and extra storage space in the understairs cupboard. The garden and patio are sunny, south-facing and benefit from rear access, making it possible to park a Birò city car, bicycle or scooter in the back garden. The garden's planting make it a very private space.
First floor:
The hallway on this floor gives access to four good-sized bedrooms and the property’s bathroom. There are two spacious bedrooms at the front, each of which come complete with custom-made cupboards. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and shower. There are another two bedrooms at the back of this floor. A sunny balcony looks out over the green garden. Like the ground floor, this floor has big windows too, making it a very bright space. MVA neighbourhood information: Buitenveldert-West

Buitenveldert is the most southern part of Amsterdam South. The neighbourhood has a lot of contrasts. Buitenveldert characteristics itself by the amount of space and green facilities available in the area. There are many facilities and shopping centre for example the Gerderlandplaza. The houses are relatively big and the neighbourhood has many above-average aged people. The neighbourhood scores well on the safety scale. Although the safety is good, the social cohesion isn’t that strong. The Zuidas part of Amsterdam is a dynamic area, which is in full development. Originally the focus was on making this part of Amsterdam a high level office complex, but now the focus is more on making it a residential area. There aren’t that many inhabitants yet, but the new building concepts are designed to improve that. There will be an elementary school and several other facilities available, which will make this part of Amsterdam a unique location.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.
