Twelve Urban Apartments will be located in Cruquiuswerf in the 101 - 115 mē category. These drie and four room apartments are located on the quay or in the green inner area. They have their own outdoor space ranging from 9 to 14 mē.

Cruquiuswerf is located on the last peninsula of the Oostelijk Havengebied in Amsterdam. Twelve elegant apartment buildings will be built at the most central point in the 'elbow' of this industrial island. They are in a beautiful fan shape so that you can see the quay and the water from almost all apartments.

A nice mix of water, concrete, boats and elegant architecture. You still have to look through your eyelashes a little, on this former industrial island, but you can already see the contours of a super cool living and working place. You will find monumental industrial buildings and new office hubs, beautiful residential buildings (under construction), the forgotten wine silos of a former wine importer, a sweet little building from our historic West Indies era (the Insulindehuisje), but also the raw factory buildings - such as the former paint factory next to Cruquiuswerf, which is being converted into a creative hotspot. This mix of old industry and new elegant architecture is what makes the island so beautiful. With in the heart of the island, where the water goes 'around the corner': Cruquiuswerf.

MVA neighbourhood information: Oostelijk Havengebied

Sporenburg is an artificial island that was built during the 19th century. The area owes its name to the use of railroad territory by the Dutch railroads. Since the 1990s the area has been redeveloped into a residential area. The neighbourhood has some architectural eye-catchers such as - the red bridges and The Sphinx, a massive residential complex which had to attract families with children to the area.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
