About the neighbourhood:
This single-family house is situated on a quiet road in the cosy and child-friendly district of Zijdelwaard. Across the street is a playground for younger and older children. Childcare and primary school are within walking distance, while secondary education can be reached on foot or by bicycle. Also the shopping centre Zijdelwaard, with several supermarkets, several other shops and restaurants, is a few minutes walk away. Via a path behind the house you can walk to the Libellebos forest, a nice place to take a daily stroll. Various sports facilities are easily accessible by bicycle and both the Westeinderplassen and the Vinkeveense Plassen lakes are only fifteen minutes away by car. Moreover, Amstelveen with all its urban facilities is close by. The bus stop is just a few minutes' walk away, and you can get to the A2, A4 or A9 motorway quickly by car.

Layout of the house:
Through the front garden you reach the front door. Entrance with cloakroom and meter closet, access to neatly tiled toilet room with floating toilet, sink and mirror cupboard, staircase to the 1st floor, storage closet and access to the living room with open kitchen. The very bright, extended living room is playfully arranged and completely renovated in 2013. At the rear, the living room has two large glass fronts: one with a sliding door and the other with a normal door to the garden. At the front of the living room you also have a large window.
The spacious, open L-shaped kitchen (DB-LINE, type Novello) is situated at the rear. This space has a skylight. The kitchen has white fronts and dark red tiling and offers a view to the front part of the living room. You will find a hot air oven, extractor hood, microwave (Pilgrim), induction cooker (AEG 2017) and a fridge/freezer combination (AEG 2017). Connection and drainage for the dishwasher are available. On the floor of the kitchen there is anthracite gray laminate in tile design and in the living room there is oak laminate flooring (brand: Streirer) that runs into the hall. The walls and ceilings have a clean and neutral finish.

First floor:
Via the upholstered stairs you reach the landing of the first floor. Here you will find the bathroom, a storage room and three neatly finished bedrooms: two at the back, of which the largest has two fixed closets and one at the front, next to the bathroom. This one also has two fixed closets. In the beautifully tiled bathroom you will find a walk-in shower, a vanity unit with washbasin and mirror, recessed spotlights, a design radiator and a floating toilet.

Second floor:
Through the open upholstered staircase you reach the landing of the second floor. This floor has a synthetic dormer window at the front and back. On the landing you will find the central heating system and the connections for washer and dryer. Here you will also find a spacious, neatly finished fourth bedroom. There is beech parquet flooring.

The house has a largely green front garden and a partly tiled, partly green backyard with fruit trees, blackberries and berry bushes. In spring you will see beautiful blossoms on the trees and in autumn you have a rich harvest of apples. The sunny garden to the southeast has a wooden and a stone shed, both with electricity. There is enough space to create a nice lounge area. There is a sunshade (2015) over the entire width of the house. Uithoorn is a small town located south of Amsterdam. It’s home to cafés and shops and some lovely spots to walk and see an abundance of nature and history. The town is perhaps best known for its unusual city flag and coat of arms, both of which feature a figure emerging from a golden horn. The town’s name literally means ‘from the horn’ in Dutch. Going from Uithoorn to Amsterdam by car takes 30 minutes. Uithoorn has a 60-hectare nature reserve that surrounds a lake called the Zijdelmeer. It’s a fantastic spot for walks and its beautiful landscapes – including reed fields, grasslands, hay islands and a swampy forest - are home to a host of diverse wildlife.
