In the very popular “Koninginnebuurt” (Queens District), on the edge of the historic center of Haarlem, this spacious and well-maintained apartment is situated. The plastic roof dome can be opened and provides daylight and fresh air.

Via a fixed staircase you reach the attic and the attic room under the tiled roof. This has been expanded into a beautiful bedroom with a dormer. The window offers a view over the roofs of the city and in the distance the tower of the large church on the Grote Markt is visible.

The Koninginnebuurt is very popular for its stately houses and spacious, green streets and many parks and squares. Childcare is widely available and there are good primary schools in the area, such as the Bos- en Vaart School, the Dreefschool and the internationally oriented Cruqiusschool. Secondary education, such as the Eerste Christelijk Lyceum, Het Lyceum Sancta Maria, the Coornhert College, the Stedelijk Gymnasium and the Rudolf Steiner College (free school) can be reached by bike in 5 - 15 minutes. The theater and the St Bavo cathedral and the historical park "De Hout" are literally around the corner. The old center of Haarlem, such as the Nieuwe Kerksplein, the Vijfhoek, the Botermarkt and the shopping area around the Grote Houtstraat and the Grote Markt can be reached by foot.
In the neighborhood, residents can park by means of a parking vignette (2 per household) and there is a visitor arrangement at a reduced rate. Public transport to Amsterdam, Schiphol and Leiden can also be reached by foot.
