A spacious 3-bedroom apartment located on the 1st floor boasts a large south-facing balcony and green view. The apartment is situated close to the Buitenveldertselaan, therefore close to various shops and convenient tram connections.

The apartment previously had a 2-bedroom layout, with an extra big living room. The design can easily be changed back, if desirable. The excellently maintained and well-kept complex was built around 1964 with a luxurious renovated communal hall with mailboxes, a staircase, and an elevator. Also, this apartment has an extra-large storage room of approximately 6 m2, equipped with electricity.

Access to 4 apartments per floor via the communal hall on the 1st floor. Corridor, with a suspended toilet, separate kitchen (needs to be renovated), with various built-in appliances (new dishwasher and refrigerator) and a small balcony. Bathroom with bath/shower and washbasin. Two spacious bedrooms and the living room, with a large glass sliding door to the large south-facing terrace. Access to the 3rd bedroom is through the living room; the boiler and washer/dryer are built-in behind a sliding wall.

There are various options for an alternative layout, such as an open kitchen in the living room, 2 or 3 bedrooms, a larger bathroom, etc. We are happy to show you the examples.

This comfortable apartment in district South is nearby the shopping area on the Buitenveldertselaan. The luxury shopping center Groot Gelderlandplein is a stone throw away. Also close to lots of greenery, peacefulness, and recreation, such as the Amsterdamse bos and the Amstelpark. Easily accessible with the new tram line 25 to Amstelveen-Station Zuid and the Center of Amsterdam or bus-train connections to Schiphol Airport. The apartment is easily accessible by car from the A-10 ring road. Parking is available in front of the door through a permit system.

More information

MVA neighbourhood information: Buitenveldert-West

Buitenveldert is the most southern part of Amsterdam South. The neighbourhood has a lot of contrasts. Buitenveldert characteristics itself by the amount of space and green facilities available in the area. There are many facilities and shopping centre for example the Gerderlandplaza. The houses are relatively big and the neighbourhood has many above-average aged people. The neighbourhood scores well on the safety scale. Although the safety is good, the social cohesion isn’t that strong. The Zuidas part of Amsterdam is a dynamic area, which is in full development. Originally the focus was on making this part of Amsterdam a high level office complex, but now the focus is more on making it a residential area. There aren’t that many inhabitants yet, but the new building concepts are designed to improve that. There will be an elementary school and several other facilities available, which will make this part of Amsterdam a unique location.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
