Description

Spacious family house with three spacious bedrooms in Amsterdam-North.

Surroundings
The house is situated in a lovely, quiet location and the location of the house is excellent! At close distance you will find many stores (including shopping center Boven 't Y), schools and public transport in the immediate vicinity. The North-South line is 10 minutes away by bike. Right next to the metro station you will also find the cinema. The connection to the A10 ring road is nearby as well as plenty of (free!) Parking. You will experience the tranquility of "rural Noord" and yet you live only 15 minutes by bike from the center of Amsterdam. The popular NDSM yard is within cycling distance, where you can not only take the ferry to Central Station or the Pontsteiger, but there are also fun festivals throughout the year. And, for a delicious bite to eat you can go to Plek, Noorderlicht, the IJ-canteen, Loetje aan 't IJ and Fred's Kitchen. A little further north are the recreational areas of Waterland and Twiske. Great for walking, running or relaxing. In short: Noord has many nice places to offer both nearby and at short distance!

At the rear you will find the seating area, overlooking the conservatory and garden. The entire first floor has underfloor heating.

More information

MVA neighbourhood information: Banne Buiksloot

Banne North and South were mostly built during the sixties and seventies. The streets are named after ship types and other concepts from the shipping industry. Banne South had many flats but, those have mostly been replaced by new buildings. Residential area Banne North is green and has a low-traffic rate. Banne East was also built during the nineties and consists of mainly single family houses. The Bezaanjachtplein, at the corner of the Ijdoornlaan, is the Banne-Center, realized with houses, a shopping centre, library and a multifunctional center/district house.

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.
