The Hoofddorppleinbuurt consists of three neighbourhoods: The Hoofddorppleinbuurt lies west of city part South and is parted of the other area’s by the Schinkel. The area has been built during the 20e century as part of Plan-West. The Hoofddorpplein forms the central traffic-point, many hospitality and shops can mainly be found within this part of the neighbourhood.
