Description

Nice! This 2-room (former 3-room) apartment on the ground floor has a spacious sunny backyard of approximately 75 m2! You can give it your "home feeling" according to your own insight. It is located on the popular Westlandgracht in the pleasant Hoofddorppleinbuurt.

Layout
Private entrance on the ground floor. You enter the hall with original tiles and stairs cupboard and this provides access to all rooms. At the front is the spacious and bright living room with a view of the canal. At the rear is the spacious kitchen with patio doors to the garden. The garden is spacious, no less than 12m deep and has a shed. The bedroom is also located at the rear and has patio doors to the garden (previously there were two bedrooms, which is easy to recreate). The bathroom is spacious and has a shower, sink and connection for the washing machine. From the hall you come to the separate toilet.

The house still needs to be finished at your own discretion, the floor still needs to be laid and the kitchen needs modernization.

Surroundings
The Westlandgracht is located in the Hoofddorppleinbuurt in the South district and has a very favorable location. Not only are countless restaurants, local shops and cafes in the immediate vicinity, you are also within a few minutes cycling in the center, the Vondelpark and the Rembrandtpark. Even the Amsterdamse bos is within cycling distance. With the Hoofddorpplein around the corner, you also have good connections for public transport. The Heemstedestraat metro stop is also 5 minutes by bike, where metro lines 50 and 51 run very regularly. The Ring is also within a few minutes' drive. Here you live quietly with a nice view in a lively neighborhood with everything within reach. An ideal location!

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Apartments

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
