A unique penthouse (approx. 197 m˛) with two big patios and a parking space in the basement car park.

The prestigious Crystal Court complex consists of 36 apartments and an underground basement car park. The complex is characterised by its unique architecture and the water features in and around the building that connect it to the adjacent park.

The surrounding area:
Buitenveldert is a very child-friendly part of the Zuid urban district. The apartment is close to a number of schools, shops, sports facilities and public transport links. There is plenty of space to park in the area too. Relaxation is catered for as well, with both the Amstelpark and the Amsterdamse Bos close at hand.

Anyone who enjoys a little more hustle and bustle will certainly appreciate the Gelderlandplein shopping mall. It is just a stone’s throw away and boasts a wide range of shops, exclusive little boutiques and countless restaurants. A number of transport links and arterial roads can be accessed from the shopping mall too.

The apartment is easy to reach by both public transport and car. Various tram and bus stops are close by too and the Amsterdam-Zuid/WTC train and underground stations are quick and easy to reach as well. The A10 ring road (Junction 109) is within a convenient distance the complex too.

This property is characterised by its quality and complete privacy. The latter is achieved by the footbridge via which the property is accessed and its special shape, which makes it a detached building in the truest sense of the term. Great attention has been paid to the level of finish delivered, all under the expert guidance of an interior designer. The result? Luxury.

The entrance door to this property, which is on the third floor, opens into a spacious hall that gives access to all of the rooms on this floor. The property has three large bedrooms, two of which have a luxury en suite bathroom (both have double washbasins, a bath-shower combination and toilet). The large patio on this floor is adjacent to the study.

The fourth floor boasts a light and area living area with an open-plan kitchen/living room; the two areas are separated by an open space. The open-plan kitchen comes complete with all of the appliances you might expect of a property of this quality. There is also a separate toilet on this floor and the second of the property’s big patios.

One aspect that makes this building so unique is the overhead cooling system installed in the ceilings of all of the apartments, which keeps them at a pleasant temperature throughout the summer months. Underfloor heating has been laid in part of the apartment too. The roof terrace has been fitted with atmospheric lighting and a water connection.

The apartment has one parking space under the building and there is plenty of (free and paid) parking around the building for friends, family and guests to use too.

MVA neighbourhood information: Buitenveldert-West

Buitenveldert is the most southern part of Amsterdam South. The neighbourhood has a lot of contrasts. Buitenveldert characteristics itself by the amount of space and green facilities available in the area. There are many facilities and shopping centre for example the Gerderlandplaza. The houses are relatively big and the neighbourhood has many above-average aged people. The neighbourhood scores well on the safety scale. Although the safety is good, the social cohesion isn’t that strong. The Zuidas part of Amsterdam is a dynamic area, which is in full development. Originally the focus was on making this part of Amsterdam a high level office complex, but now the focus is more on making it a residential area. There aren’t that many inhabitants yet, but the new building concepts are designed to improve that. There will be an elementary school and several other facilities available, which will make this part of Amsterdam a unique location.

Amsterdam is the largest Dutch city, the capital of the Netherlands, and the nation's financial, business, cultural and commercial capital as well. Since its founding in the 12th century, Amsterdam has evolved from a small fishing village into one of the most important ports in the world during the Dutch Golden Age. Museums like the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh and the Stedelijk also give Amsterdam serious cultural credibility. Amsterdam's compact size, cycling lifestyle, diverse population (more than 170 nationalities), English-speaking natives, abundance of green space, reliable public transportation system and central location within Europe mean it's not only a great place to visit, but also a great place to live.

Buying an apartment in Amsterdam is different from buying a house or a detached villa. In case of an apartment, you do not only have neighbours to your left and right, but often also above or underneath you. That means the ground on which the property is located belongs to multiple people. This can lead to complications when you’re trying to figure out the extra costs before buying the apartment.
